Charles (Chuck) Burch Jr. is a 1982 graduate of A&T. His Accounting degree and his undergraduate experience at A&T prepared him for outstanding career achievement and allowed him to make significant contributions to the community. Chuck is currently President and Chief Financial Consultant for the The Burch Financial Group in the Dallas Texas area.
His firm provides Accounting, Tax, and Financial Advisory services for Individuals and Businesses. Chuck is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Chuck has combined outstanding career achievement with exemplary service to the community and the Alumni Association. Chuck is married and has 2 young children. He attributes his accomplishments to his blessings from God and the support of his wife, Jennifer and their children Charles III and Jenna Charle'.


The Western Region consists of:

- Alumni Chapters: Dallas, Texas, Houston, Texas, Seattle, Washington, Los Angeles, California.

- Interest Groups: San Francisco Bay area, Portland Oregon, Denver Colorado, Phoenix Arizona, Austin Texas, and Tulsa Oklahoma

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

**Regional Director's Report 2004**

Sponsored the Western Region Alumni Conference and meeting in Las Vegas Nevada and Served as the host for Alumni in the Las Vegas Classic Football game featuring NC A&T vs Southern University.

Facilitated elections and officer turnover for Regional Officers and Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas and Houston Alumni Chapters.

Started work on the Regional Website.

Sponsored a "Aggie Road Trip" to Jackson, MS for the A&T vs Jackson State Game.

Scheduled the Spring 2004 Regional Conference for Houston, TX in March.

2004 GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

Charter one new alumni chapter before the end of the fiscal year (Northern California or Portland).

Finish Regional website.

Create infrastructure and support to share information (best practices) between regional officers and chapter presidents on a real time basis.

Disseminate news from National meetings on timely basis to deliver to local chapters and interest groups.

Facilitate growth and development of Chapters and new chapter officers.

Provide regional representation on National committees.

Select and Award Regional Scholarship, Facilitate local scholarships.

Facilitate and Drive the Alumni Association Restructuring Activities.
