WESTERN REGIONAL DIRECTOR’S REPORT
EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING
March 2004
NARRATIVE:
The Western Region consists
of Alumni Chapters In Dallas, Texas,
MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Completed and launched Western Region Website www.ncatwesternregion.com,
- Started Quarterly Regional conference calls with
100% chapter participation.
- Next call scheduled for May 20, 2004
- Completed Regional Newsletter for electronic
distribution. Launch will occur in
March after Executive council meeting.
- Facilitated Regional and Chapter By Laws
review.
- Finalized the Spring
2004 Regional Conference for
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
- Support Alumni Giving effort with point persons
for the Region and each chapter
- Support National Community Service emphasis with
chapter activities in April 2004
- Create infrastructure and support to share
information (best practices) between regional officers and chapter
presidents on a real time basis
- Disseminate news from National meetings on timely
basis to deliver to local chapters and interest groups
- Facilitate growth and development of Chapters and
new chapter officers
- Provide regional representation on National
committees
- Select and Award Regional Scholarship, Facilitate
local scholarships
- Facilitate and Drive the Alumni Association
